For the past 11 years Therese Quinn has worked as an Emergency Management Specialist in local public health. Her work in this position has provided her experience responding to floods, to H1N1 outbreaks, and to the SR 530 slide near Oso, Washington. Therese continues to advocate at the local and national level for increased education on cultural competence in emergency management. Additionally, she is part of an Incident Management Team and has worked on several activations. Prior to her current position, Therese was the Dignity & Diversity Program Director at the Interfaith Association of NW Communities of Color Coalition, the Mayor's Advisory Committee on Diversity in Everett, and on a number of other diversity and inclusion initiatives. She holds a degree in Emergency Management and is a Certified Diversity Professional. Therese is the lead instructor for Culture and Disaster Behavioral Health for Bolante.NET.
