Janvier Slick is a Disaster Behavioral Health Trainer and Consultant for Bolante.net. She continues to lead projects for the Bolante.net specific to continuing education units, PFA facilitator training and K12 PFA training, and a member of the Disaster Behavioral Health planning committee. She began as a protective services worker, and then held positions as a Family Based Services Team Coordinator. She obtained a Master’s in Juvenile Corrections from University of Oregon, and a Master’s in Social Work from Portland State University. In 1995, Ms. Slick began providing debriefing to juries serving on difficult cases. She currently applies her experience with traumatized individuals to work in the field of disaster behavioral health.
